day ONE

day ONE
Lunch today included 13 plant foods and ferments and 24 grams of protein,

This week, week ONE, the goal / theme is calm and centered.

It's been a long time. I have been so scattered - starting this, trying that, nothing sticking. Nothing growing.

It's time to look inside and determine what I truly want. To let that slowly appear from the quiet depths of MY being. And to create that life from the ground up, with my arms and heart facing the sky.

I’m designing recipes and protocols for EVERY woman — simple, plant-powered, protein-rich meals that don’t require a personal chef or an hour in the kitchen. My goal this week is to get 40+ different plants into my microbiome — and start building resilience from the inside out.

One of the most influential books in my health journey has been Fiber Fueled by gastroenterologist Dr. Will Bulsiewicz. In it he explains:

“The single greatest predictor of a healthy gut microbiome is the diversity of plants in one’s diet.”
He goes even further, noting that consuming thirty different plants in a single week was the strongest predictor of gut microbial diversity.

It’s not just about eating vegetables — it’s about eating a wide variety of them. Every plant brings unique fibers and phytonutrients that feed different species of beneficial bacteria. More diversity = a more resilient, metabolically powerful microbiome.

For me, this flipped the script.
It stopped being about restriction — and became about expansion.

The plate pictured above had 13 plant foods — and ferments to help seed beneficial bacteria. It’s day ONE — and it already feels like progress.
