My new morning ritual

My new morning ritual

A huge part of this self-guided transformation is making space for myself.

I look back on my twenties and crave the calm, natural way I moved through my life. I did yoga every day. I played music. I meditated. I wrote in my journal, painted, went on long hikes. All of that space allowed me to be deeply connected to my own inner wisdom. It allowed me to dream. And more importantly, it allowed me to bring those dreams to life.

Being a mother of three, a wife, a teacher, a photographer, a musician, and everything else leaves very little space. I am always doing. And it is impossible to access the calm flow necessary for transformation when you are always doing.

So one of the pillars of my transformation is creating space for myself. The only time I can reliably do that is early in the morning.

And so it goes.

My new morning ritual starts at 5 AM.

Before I check my phone or enter the noise of the day, I regulate my nervous system.

I begin with slow yoga to lower cortisol and bring my body into a calm, responsive state.

I meditate.

I walk in the early morning light to anchor my circadian rhythm.

On strength days, I lift weights. On recovery days, I walk farther.

I support my physiology with a simple, evidence-based supplement protocol.

Then I wake fully with my own upgraded bulletproof coffee.

I write before the world tells me who to be or what it needs.

And finally, I fuel with a plant-powered, protein-forward breakfast.

This isn’t about productivity.

It’s about regulation.

Calm nervous system.
Stable hormones.
Strong body.
Elevated identity.
